Varies by assignment The Internal Traveler Program is an opportunity to explore the boundless possibilities at UVA Health. Internal Traveler positions are: compensated competitively with other traveler positions, available in a wide variety of clinical practice opportunities, and are offered in 13-week blocks, which may be renewed up to a maximum of 39 weeks. One-time $2,500.00 incentive pay with first 13 week assignment. Please visit link <https://hr.virginia.edu/uva-health-internal-traveler-program> Position Compensation Range: - Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduated froman CAHEEP or ABHES accredited by CAHEEP/ABHES OR NCCT Approved program. Experience:Three years of experience required. Licensure:BLS required. Certified to practice as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA (The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting). Current Registration with Virginia Board of Medicine required at the time of hire. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: passing instruments, lifting heavy instrument sets. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs.
