TITLE: HMIS Data Entry Analyst
SUPERVISOR: Guardianship Program Manager/Supervisor of Unhoused Initiatives STATUS: Non-Exempt GRADE: 2 SALARY: $15.08 The incumbent functions as a Data Entry Analyst that will be responsible for inputting accurate data into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) software systems and ensuring accuracy of data entry by running frequent system reports. The work environment is fast paced, with time sensitive issues and individuals in distress or in extremely difficult situations. The incumbent is expected to handle sensitive situations, maintain a professional demeanor, and a positive attitude in a high-pressure environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Essential Requirements Must have a minimum High School diploma. Associate degree preferred. Experience with data entry and familiarity with administrative duties and typing speed, and accuracy (minimum of 35 wpm with 95% accuracy). Strong attention to detail, detail oriented. Excellent skills in writing and professional communications. Proficient with MS Office, HMIS/ETO (preferred), and computer software. Able to maintain confidentiality working with sensitive information. Ability to attend training and other sessions which may be scheduled after working hours. Must have a current driver's license and show evidence of meeting state requirements of having the appropriate level of automobile insurance. Able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds (from time to time). Must agree to undergo background check by law enforcement as well as a drug test. Results must show that the person has not been convicted of an offense nor have a positive drug test result. Verbally communicate in English & Spanish. Evaluation: A review of performance is conducted at the end of the first three months of the initial introductory period, and upon completion of twelve months from the date of hire, and every twelve months thereafter. |
