Radiologic Technologist II - Per Diem

Position Highlights:

• Position: Radiology Tech II
• Location: Swedish Hospital - Chicago, IL.
• Part Time: Per Diem
• Hours: Hours vary upon the need of the department

General Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Radiology/Imaging with accountability to the manager and under the direction of the surgeons and the radiologists performs surgical diagnostic procedure in surgery, as needed, and other diagnostic x-ray procedures; trains and supervises students in the Surgery Department area.

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.

• Certification: Current ARRT registration with certification in Radiography and Illinois Emergency Management Agency, Dept of Nuclear Safety accreditation required,Current CPR certification required.
• Experience: One year experience as a general radiographer with operating room experience or an NCH student Radiologic Technologist graduate with 3 months experience in surgery/OR required.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
