Job Summary

The Diversity & Inclusion Manager is a visionary leader skilled in team building, engagement and cultural transformational practices charged with regional responsibilities of creating a culture of inclusion and belonging for all team members aligned with the Prisma Health Diversity Strategic Plan/Roadmap and organizational goals. The candidate is a strong communicator, collaborator, and facilitator. The Manager of Inclusion and Belonging has the responsibility to leverage diversity best practices in the development, planning and implementation of programs, practices and initiatives that support engagement and a inclusive work environment for all team members, diverse populations within the Prisma Health workforce, allies and communities served. Proven track record of managing cross functional teams and project plans and implementing DEI strategies. The Manager of Inclusion and Belonging will prioritize actions and tactics in the management and optimization of Prisma Health\u2019s Business Resource Groups (BRGs), maximizing BRG processes, supporting department metric achievement on sense of belonging and DEI Index scores. This includes the creation of new BRGs, executive sponsorship support and mentoring for all BRGs, and maintaining a high-level of connectivity and visibility of existing business resource groups. Redefine and lead BRG governance and programming, ensuring a self-sustaining model, as these key groups are critical to increasing awareness and belonging, driving employee engagement. Th Manager of Inclusion and Belonging will create and support comprehensive team member & workplace strategies aligned with key metrics to drive and measure success, including diversity and inclusion campaigns, DEI learning objectives, DEI content creation/facilitation/presentation, and stakeholder collaboration. Develop external partnerships and relationships to further DEI initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leadership, employee relations and business partners as it relates to DEI strategy, conflict resolution, and behavior standards. Contribute to and assist to draft high-quality communications, reports, and presentations on DEI initiatives and progress using data analysis and insights. In addition, consulting with leadership to align and adjust strategies as needed and hard-drive Prisma Health\"s Promise. Collaborate with leaders across the organization to ensure DEI is embedded into company policies, processes, and practices.

Accountabilities

  • Manages in collaboration with the Executive and Director of Diversity and Inclusion to develop and meet tactical diversity and inclusion organizational objectives and Diversity Roadmap strategy and track metrics and establish action plans on DE&I workstreams. Partner with leaders across the organization to ensure DEI is embedded into policies, processes, and practices. - 20%

  • Leads the management of Prisma Health Business Resource Groups as a Diversity Best Practice, aligned with organizational goals of Engagement and Belonging, working creatively to optimize and guide BRGs for long term growth, including engaging Senior Leadership involvement and connection to BRGs. Aligns and integrates existing BRG Bylaws/Charters and other governance processes. Works directly with HRIS/Workday tracking and BRG leaders and serve as a liaison between Business Resource Groups to maintain and enhance feeling of belonging and inclusion aligned with People Pillar goals. Partner with other cross functional teams to share and identify best practices, leverage effective tools and deploy in a way that is meaningful. - 20%

  • Leads and assists in workplace diversity spotlights and awards, furthermore monitoring\u00A0 identity recognitions and cultural observances through development, \u00A0implementation, and execution of\u00A0 diversity, equity, and belonging programs and initiatives with measurable outcomes (i.e, multicultural observances, champion months, etc), and identity other opportunities to enhance culture of belonging.. Evaluation of \u00A0internal and external inclusion approaches by teaming with Marketing and Communications, Inspire Platform, Learning & Organizational Development to accomplish plans. - 15%

  • Assist and supports diversity assessment and culture audits to advance equity objectives and to embed \u00A0diversity strategy across the organization, works proactively and collaboratively with leaders to support team member engagement\u00A0 and inclusion practices. Provide leadership coaching, when appropriate, to managers and leaders via one-to-one and group interactions (provide DEI education/training/facilitation). - 15%

  • Drive DE&I goal attainment through program management and defined project plans; manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support..Acts as a DEI and OD liaison \u00A0to continually evaluate and gain feedback and customize DEI\u00A0 learning path and educational content with a focus on improvement, results, and business impact. - 15%

  • Works with employee relations , academic and business partners and leaders on specific diversity-related conflicts or issues (i.e., investigate and implement supportive solutions aligned with Just Culture, Title VI, Section 1557\u00A0 discrimination/harassment, code of conduct and behavior standards). - 10%

  • Engage in professional and personal development to stay abreast of diversity and inclusion best practices. Build diversity acumen and a\u00A0 comprehensive understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging and how they intersect. Maintain and proactively report DEI-related issues, current events, and trends. - 5%

Supervisory / Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Human Resources, Business Management, Organization Development, International Studies or other related Healthcare field is required.

  • 7 years - Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion, Business Management, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Project Management/ coordination, communications, or healthcare related field

In Lieu Of

In lieu of the experience requirements noted above, certification in DEI or SHRM with combined 5 years integrated experience in Human Resources, Learning or Organizational Change/Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Acquisition or roles with healthcare or academic\u00A0related functions may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

  • Strong communication, decision-making, and facilitation skills \u00A0

  • Strong interpersonal skills - preferred

  • Experience in diversity or healthcare Project or Program development and/or management, learning and development, human capital services, employee relations or \u00A0healthcare.- preferred
