$1,167 per 1 credit with upward adjustment for years of service at Marist College. Pay may vary depending on credits pertaining to online, graduate, music, or lab courses.



Job Summary:



The Department of Art & Digital Media at Marist College invites applications for part-time faculty to teach 1-3 courses in the 2023-2024 academic year.



Minimum Qualifications:



Masters or Bachelors degree in an appropriate field, and/or Industry/professional experience. Previous college level teaching experience needed.



Essential Functions:



Successful candidates will teach 1-3 courses for the Digital Media program, develop course materials, assist students as needed, and assess student work.

About the Department:



The programs of the Department of Art and Digital Media give students the opportunity to develop as artists, designers, digital media creators, and scholars in facilities that support both traditional media, such as painting and sculpture, and the latest developments in new media.

The programs are housed in the newly renovated and expanded Steel Plant, with four state-of-the-art digital labs, new traditional media studios, a maker space for digital fabrication and large format 2-D printing, as well as an interior garden with cafe and gallery that exhibits regional and international artists as well as the work of our students.
