Description Under minimal direction from the Facilities Manager, the Grounds Specialist will maintain a safe, organized, and clean landscape for St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute. Primary responsibilities include creating and maintaining the landscape design for facility, applying pesticides and fertilizers as needed, irrigation system installation and maintenance, and maintaining water fall pumps, filters, and chemicals. Other duties to include preservation of grounds including picking up debris, cutting and trimming grass, raking leaves, and during all seasons maintain driveways, parking lots, and walkways. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.
