Title: Senior Digital Product Manager

Location: Austin, TX (4 Days onsite in every week)

Duration: 13 Months

Job Description:

Client's Retail Digital organization is responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the platforms and services that enable digital interactions with clients at scale. Our digital experiences are how many clients interact with client each day, and we are focused on making those experiences intuitive, efficient, and trusted.

Retail Digital is seeking an analytical, highly organized, and future-focused Senior Manager, Digital Product Management to support a strategic international digital initiative. This role will lead the definition and delivery of client experiences across authenticated client and retail mobile application journeys.

The Senior Manager will map the end-to-end client journey, identify experience gaps and opportunities, and translate complex business, regulatory, operational, and technology needs into clearly defined digital capabilities. This individual will work across multiple product and technology domains to determine the systems, business rules, data, and functional requirements needed to enable the client experience.

Unlike a traditional product manager assigned to a single product line or established scrum team, this role will initially operate across multiple teams and workstreams. As the initiative progresses, the individual may assume product leadership responsibilities for a dedicated delivery team.

What You'll Do

  • Lead discovery and requirements definition for a complex international digital initiative spanning authenticated web and mobile app experiences.
  • Map the end-to-end client journey across relevant digital, operational, and servicing touchpoints.
  • Identify client experience gaps, opportunities, dependencies, and areas requiring new or enhanced digital capabilities.
  • Define the intended client experience, including workflows, business rules, decision points, error handling, content needs, and exception scenarios.
  • Translate business and client needs into detailed functional requirements that can be understood and implemented by design and technology teams.
  • Define and document digital development scope, including what capabilities are required, what is not required, and which teams or platforms are affected.
  • Identify the backend domains, systems, services, data, and integrations needed to enable the digital experience.
  • Partner with architecture and technology teams to evaluate feasibility, dependencies, implementation options, and delivery sequencing.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, business, operations, service, design, technology, and other partners to ensure requirements are complete and appropriately reviewed.
  • Partner with user experience design and research teams to develop intuitive web and mobile experiences that address the needs of international clients.
  • Serve as the central digital product contact for the initiative, maintaining alignment across participating teams and helping resolve cross-domain questions and requirements.
  • Work closely with project and program management partners to define, understand, and track digital workstreams, milestones, dependencies, decisions, risks, and delivery readiness.
  • Facilitate working sessions that bring together business, product, design, technology, and control partners to resolve ambiguity and move decisions forward.
  • Communicate complex client experience and technology considerations in a clear, structured manner to both working teams and senior leaders.
  • Support prioritization and tradeoff decisions based on client impact, business value, risk, feasibility, dependencies, and delivery constraints.
  • Maintain traceability between the client journey, business requirements, functional requirements, design decisions, and delivery scope.
  • Monitor delivery against the defined client experience and requirements, identifying gaps or deviations that require resolution.
  • As the initiative progresses, potentially provide product leadership for a dedicated delivery or scrum team, including backlog development, story refinement, prioritization, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Serve as a client advocate and digital experience subject matter expert throughout discovery, planning, and delivery.

What You Have

  • Extensive experience leading the definition and delivery of complex digital experiences across responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Strong digital product management experience, including discovery, journey mapping, scope definition, functional requirements, and delivery oversight.
  • Expert ability to translate client, business, operational, regulatory, and technology needs into detailed and actionable requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating end-to-end journeys that cross multiple product, platform, data, and operational domains.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between front-end client experiences and the backend systems, services, data, and business logic that support them.
  • Excellent listening and analytical skills, with the ability to uncover and clarify the underlying intent behind stakeholder requests.
  • Strong program management capabilities, including the ability to organize and track multiple workstreams, dependencies, decisions, risks, and deliverables.
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and move complex, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and build productive relationships across multiple teams and levels of an organization.
  • Experience collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Risk, technology, operations, service, design, and business partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate detailed requirements and provide concise updates for senior leaders.
  • Experience operating within Agile delivery models and partnering with, or leading, scrum teams.
  • Ability to adapt as the initiative evolves from cross-domain discovery and planning into execution and delivery.
  • Curiosity, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to learn complex business and technical concepts quickly.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with limited direction.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of digital product management, product ownership, business analysis, or related experience.

  • Experience mapping complex client journeys that include digital, operational, and servicing components.
  • Experience defining requirements across multiple backend systems, APIs, data sources, and enterprise platforms.
  • Experience leading a scrum team or serving as a senior Product Owner.
