Your Job Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking a part-time Software Engineering Co-op for the Fall term. This opportunity is designed for a student who is interested in applying software engineering concepts in a business environment while contributing to projects that create real value. The co-op will work alongside experienced technology professionals to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of software solutions that help drive business outcomes. Our Team You will collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and business partners on projects that support KAES operations and innovation initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to learn modern software development practices. What You Will Do Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications Collaborate with team members to solve technical and business challenges Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and improving existing applications Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and Agile development activities Learn and apply software engineering best practices, tools, and technologies Contribute to projects that improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Expected to remain enrolled during the Fall co-op term Basic understanding of software development principles and programming concepts Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills What Will Put You Ahead Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or similar Exposure to web application development, cloud technologies, or data solutions Experience working on team-based academic, internship, or personal software projects Familiarity with source control tools such as Git At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
