Network Infrastructure Engineer III (Remote)

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. Priority given to those located remotely in North Carolina, Arizona and Texas.

This positionleadsthe development and support of the Bank'snetworkinfrastructure. Serves as atechnical resourceforproject planningand problem resolution. Presents technical alternatives and solutions to management that are reliable,scalable,secureand cost-effective. Leads technical teams on assigned projects and collaborates effectively across the organization.Providesconsultative guidance to associates, management, and business units through expertise in multiple technologies.

Consultation:Provides consultative direction and technical advice relating to the Bank'snetworkinfrastructure,addressing reliability, availability, scalability, security, and recovery. Supports all areas of Technology and Operations.

Analysis:Evaluates the performance of existing and proposed system components in delivering solutions for technology, operations, and business needs.Analyzeshardware platforms, operating systems, applications, and network components.Provideskey insight into new system software, hardware, and networkintegration.

Support:Implements, upgrades, andsupportsnetwork hardware and software. Coordinatesnew technologiesspanning hardware platforms and different operating systems that require network communication. Coordinates network communication and data integration methods fornew technologies. Performs planning and documentation throughout support activities. Resolves complex technical problems and automates tasks for improvedefficiency.

TechnicalExpertise:Maintains a strong knowledge basetoeffectively consult and direct others on technical matters.Communicates effective and clear technical information across platforms.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Data, voice or converged networking OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Data, voice or converged networking

Preferred Experience and Skills: (At least one of the following)

• Experience designing and deployingEnterprise Cisco Viptela SD-WAN.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco ACI fabric architecture, Leaf-Spine networking, policy design, multi-site, contracts, and operational support.
• Experience withCloud ConnectivityandCloud Networkingincluding AWS and Azure.
• Experience withAutomation and Programmabilityincluding interacting with REST APIs andGithubrepositories.

Preferred Certifications:(At least one of the following)

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure).
• Cisco Certified DevNet Professional or equivalent automation experience.
• AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent cloud certification.

Principle Accountabilities:

60% - Design,consulting and project support 20% - Vision,roadmapsandstrategy 10% - Implementation, testing and build out 10% - Tier 4 support escalation including on-call

The base pay for this position is generally between $120,000 and $155,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
