YOUR IMPACT An exceptional opportunity has become available at OpenText for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our in-house HR, Litigation, Ethics & Compliance legal team. Based in either our Gaithersburg, MD or Alpharetta, GA location and reporting to the VP & GC - Legal HR, Litigation, Ethics & Compliance, this strategic in-house counsel position is dedicated to supporting the organization's legal needs with respect to global commercial litigation and software compliance while working with the broader legal and HR teams. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization and will be adept at connecting business strategy to legal work. They will serve as a trusted advisor to the business, providing guidance to mitigate organizational risk. Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we're happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off. Salary Range: $176,000 - $260,000 USD - Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted. California Residents: The pay range above is a reasonable estimate of salary based on pay scale, candidate experience, skills, and education. In addition to the comprehensive benefits noted above, the role may be eligible for bonus or commissions.
