ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:



  • Responsible for supervising and directing the revenue audit team on day-to-day basis.


  • Reviews daily gaming audits while following the Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures to ensure adequate gaming controls, accuracy and completion
  • Records revenues for purposes of daily reports provided to management
  • Reviews variance reports and follow-up reports


  • Maintains the necessary internal controls to safeguard the property assets
  • Oversees Revenue Auditors in providing procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper controls to ensure adequate gaming and GAAP controls
  • Trace source documents to evaluate documentation and reconciliation


  • Assists in external audits as needed


  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has supervisory responsibilities.



  • Assists with staff development and training programs.
  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.
  • Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.
  • Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).



QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance preferred from a four year college or university; three years' experience in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years' supervisory experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must be able to use Microsoft Office products or any other Information Tech platform associated with the job duties.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
