Mansfield Service Partnersis looking for an Operations Technician to join our team in El Dorado, AR This is a hands-on technical role supporting customer lubrication and reliability programs through oil sampling, equipment inspections, preventive lubrication, troubleshooting, and onsite service.

What You'll Do

  • Manage scheduled oil sampling programs for assigned customer accounts.
  • Perform oil changes, lubrication routes, electric motor greasing, and visual equipment inspections.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot lubricant systems, pumps, nozzles, fittings, storage, and dispensing equipment.
  • Investigate product contamination issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Document and communicate sampling results, inspection findings, completed work, and recommended actions.
  • Work directly with customer teams to identify reliability concerns and recommend practical solutions.
  • Participate in customer and reliability review meetings as needed.
  • Train customer personnel on proper sampling and technical service procedures.
  • Recommend appropriate lubricant storage and dispensing equipment.
  • Identify additional product or service needs and communicate opportunities to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Maintain required customer-specific safety and technical certifications.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

This position is located in an outdoors environment frequent encounters dirt and dust, noise and vibration, fumes and odors and wetness/humidity. May be frequently exposed to mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. This position may require travel via vehicle and airplane. Employee may be required to sit for long periods of time. The incumbent frequently lifts up to 25 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This position does not generally require long hours and weekend work, but it may be necessary on occasion. Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%.

Minimum Education, Experience and Certification

  • MLT-1 Certification
  • Three (3) years of mechanical experience (automotive, industrial machinery, valves, pumps)
  • Three (3) years of experience with fuel and lube pumps, nozzles, & fittings
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving techniques and skills
  • Establishes and follows procedures and protocols; maintains consistency in work process
  • Experience with pumps and strong mechanical and technical abilities a plus
