POSITION SPECIFICS Student Care & Advocacy, within Student Affairs at The Pennsylvania State University, welcomes applications for aCase Manager. WHO WE ARE Student Care & Advocacy (SCA) provides support to students experiencing unforeseen challenges throughout their academic career. SCA case managers help students identify issues and appropriate resources, working collaboratively with the student to empower their development of an action plan. Offered services include, but are not limited to, navigating campus and community resources, referrals to community providers, exploration of or referral for behavioral health concerns, coordination, and follow-up during and after hospitalization and/or medical withdrawal, and help managing multiple or complex needs. This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience Required Certifications: NoneBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
