Scope of Position

The Sourcing Lead is responsible for driving forward talent acquisition sourcing strategies and employer branding initiatives. This role leads the development and implementation of innovative sourcing techniques to attract top talent, while also enhancing the company's employer brand to position it as an employer of choice. The Sourcing Lead works closely with the recruitment team, hiring managers, and marketing to create a robust pipeline of qualified candidates and improve the overall talent acquisition process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent across various roles and levels within the organization.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives, collaborating with marketing to create compelling content that showcases the company culture and attracts potential candidates.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, social media sourcing, and networking to build a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Analyze sourcing metrics and provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and employer branding efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent sourcing and employer branding to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific talent needs and develop targeted sourcing plans for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with professional organizations, industry groups, and educational institutions to expand the company's talent network.
  • Drive diversity sourcing initiatives to ensure a diverse candidate pool and support the company's commitment to inclusion and equity.
  • Train and mentor recruitment team members on effective sourcing techniques and best practices.
  • Partner to optimize the use of the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to streamline the sourcing process.
  • Develop and maintain talent pools for future hiring needs, ensuring a proactive approach to talent acquisition.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the company's employer brand and source potential candidates.
  • Collaborate with HR and the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns for specific roles or talent segments.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine sourcing channels and methods to improve the quality and diversity of candidate pipelines.
  • Manage relationships with external sourcing vendors and agencies when additional support is needed.
  • Based on business needs, serve as the designated recruiter for filling open positions as assigned.
  • Travel as required.
  • Other duties which may be assigned as needed.
  • Supervises others.

Education & Years of Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-8 years experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or a similar role.

  • Fluency in job boards and sourcing sites

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, team members may be required to visit alternate locations, and therefore must have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to do so. This position requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The team member is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
