  • Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.

Responsibilities

  • The HVAC Mechanicperformsmaintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems within a hospital environment.
  • Ensuresproper indoor air quality, temperature control, and system functionality to support patient care and facility operations.
  • Additionally, followssafety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance.
  • Supportspreventive maintenance programs and respond to service needs in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to a safe, efficient, and reliable healthcare environment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years' experience in HVAC maintenance and repair in a commercial or healthcare environment.
  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Certification.
  • Knowledgeof HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical components, and Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Technical or vocational training in HVAC or a related field.
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent credential.
