Your Job

The Disciplined Operations Leader is responsible for developing, implementing, coaching, and sustaining a facility-wide Daily Management System that aligns business priorities with daily execution. This role partners with site leadership, operations, maintenance, reliability, quality, and support teams to establish disciplined operating routines, visual management systems, KPI ownership, Leader Standard Work, escalation processes, and performance review cadences that improve operational results and organizational capability. The role will support the Corrugated business segment, partnering with facilities and leadership teams to drive consistent deployment and sustainment of management system standards across operations.

The position serves as the subject matter expert and change leader for management system deployment, ensuring the organization's operating principles are translated into repeatable daily behaviors, accountability mechanisms, and continuous improvement processes.

This position is home based with up to 50-75% travel to support projects across the US.

What You Will Do

Management System Design & Deployment

  • Lead implementation of the Daily Management System roadmap across facilities, departments, and operating areas.
  • Establish standard management system architecture, governance, and deployment methodologies.
  • Develop implementation plans, scorecards, milestones, and sustainability reviews.
  • Facilitate site assessments and identify improvement opportunities related to management system maturity.

Action Management and Accountability

  • Develop and standardize action registers and accountability systems.
  • Establish processes for assigning, tracking, escalating, and closing actions.
  • Monitor overdue action items and facilitate prioritization reviews.
  • Ensure actions are linked to improvement opportunities and business objectives.

Escalation and Problem Solving Systems

  • Design and deploy structured escalation processes and response frameworks.
  • Establish escalation triggers, ownership, workflows, and communication pathways.
  • Integrate escalation practices into daily and weekly operating routines.
  • Facilitate structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis activities.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in manufacturing, operations leadership, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or management system deployment.
  • Experience implementing Lean methodologies, Daily Management Systems, Leader Standard Work, KPI management practices, or similar operating systems.
  • Experience facilitating teams, delivering coaching and training, managing projects, and leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving adoption of new processes, systems, or standards in environments without direct reporting authority.
  • Experience using performance dashboards, analyzing operational data, and maintaining visual management systems.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience leading large-scale operational transformations.
  • Knowledge of Principle Based Management, Operational Excellence, and Reliability processes.
  • Experience developing training curricula and leading capability-building initiatives.
