Sibley Memorial Hospital | Washington, DC Join the Public Safety team at Sibley Memorial Hospital and help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff. As a Public Safety Officer I, you will serve as a visible presence throughout the hospital, respond to emergencies, provide customer service, and support the hospital's commitment to exceptional patient care. Position Summary The Public Safety Officer I is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff throughout the facility. This role works closely with healthcare professionals to maintain a safe and orderly environment, respond to emergencies, provide assistance as needed, and ensure no weapons or other prohibited items enter the hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a flexible, as-needed role in healthcare security. Schedule PRN (As Needed) PRN team members provide coverage based on departmental needs, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts. Key Responsibilities
