SCHEDULE: Full Time | Monday - Friday.

  • 10:00am-6:00pm
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours

Salary: Starting at $32.00-$35.00 per hour (DOE)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks, heavy equipment, and fleet vehicles.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
  • Use computerized diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine issues.
  • Conduct safety inspections and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
  • Document repairs, parts usage, and labor hours using fleet maintenance software.
  • Communicate repair needs and work status with drivers, technicians, and supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all company and OSHA safety standards.
  • Perform additional maintenance and repair duties as needed to support fleet operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • ValidDriver's Licensewith aClean Driving Record(Required)
  • 2+ years of diesel repair experience(fleet, trucking,heavyequipment, etc.) or completion of a diesel tech program
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals inEnglish
  • Provide personal tools.
  • Eligibility to obtain Class B CDL if required.
  • Weldingorfabricationexperience is a big plus!

Candidates for employment must meet position requirements and successfully pass post offer employment examinations including:

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

  • Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
  • Back, leg, arm and shoulder strength required to safely climb in, on and around vehicles to inspect and repair.
  • Ability to work in awkward, tight, or restricted spaces for extended periods of time; Requires the ability to sit, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, and be able to get up and down from a supine position.
  • Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.
  • The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
