Job Description




As a SOC / Patrol Dispatch Operator in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and on-site personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and security-related support activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor radios, telephones, alarms, cameras, and other dispatch systems, and coordinate the timely relay of routine and urgent information to security-related staff, building personnel, and/or emergency responders.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and helping to direct the appropriate response based on site procedures.
  • Maintain detailed logs, reports, and dispatch records, including incident notifications, key updates, and communications with on-site teams and/or management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while helping to identify unusual activity, access concerns, and other conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
