Description

The Facilities Manageris responsible forthe strategic leadership, technical oversight, and operational performance of Liberty Diversified International facilities and infrastructure assets. This position serves as the subject matter expert for building systems, capital planning, asset reliability, contractor management, and facility operations. The role requires strong analytical thinking, sound technical judgment, financial acumen and budgeting, independent decision-making, and the ability to prioritize competing business demands across multiple locations.

This position will report to the Director Engineering & Facilities at LDI headquarters in New Hope, Minnesota.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead facility operations, maintenance activities, and infrastructure reliability programs across assigned locations.
  • Develop andmaintaina rolling 5-year capital asset replacement and facility infrastructure plan.
  • Prioritize maintenance, safety, compliance, business continuity, and capital projects based on risk and operational impact.
  • Analyze facility performance data, maintenance trends, utility consumption, and operating costs to drive improvements.
  • Lead root-cause investigations and implement permanent corrective actions for recurring facility failures.
  • Manage facility budgets, capital expenditures, supplier performance, and service agreements.
  • Provide technical leadershipregardingHVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, roofing, building automation systems, and building infrastructure.
  • Direct management of warehouse employees, including coaching, development, performance management, and work prioritization.
  • Oversee the delivery of facility services by external service providers and vendors through established contracts, service-level expectations, and operational requirements.
  • Communicate and resolve conflicts effectively with internal customers, vendors, landlords, and business leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 4+ years of facilities, engineering, maintenance, or infrastructure management experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or related environment, including 2+ years of leadership or management experience.
  • Experience in managing facility budgets and leading capital projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strategic asset managementand long-range planning capability.
  • Project management skills, including prioritizing and execution of multiple initiatives.
  • Financial and business acumen
  • Sound technical judgment and ability to make independent decisions.
  • Ability to lead initiatives independently with minimal direction.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, influence, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset focused on operational excellence.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or similar professional certification.
  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities or industrial sites.
  • Experience with CMMS systems, KPI reporting, and asset lifecycle management.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The starting base salary range for this position is $101,460 - $126,825 per year plus eligibility in annual bonus program. The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses or deferred compensation options.
