Security Officer Credential Coordinator

As a Security Officer Credential Coordinator in Dayton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations through visible presence and strong communication. In this role, you will provide customer service, assist with badge-related activity, and help to deter incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, caring, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, log arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
• Screen vehicles, trailers, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with location procedures, reporting irregularities and maintaining accurate activity records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
