ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Product Designer 3, you'll focus on creating original, innovative product designs that reflect our design philosophy and standards. You'll work across the full design lifecycle, from concept through execution, collaborating with design leadership, category management, and the broader product team. This is a direct hands-on role where your design expertise drives both aesthetics and product performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Execution - Proactively oversee all product details including construction, color, form, style, fit, performance, graphic application, and trim. Review samples and communicate changes clearly to ensure timely project completion. You'll leverage hands-on knowledge across all design phases and share advancements with the broader team.

Design Strategy & Communication - Contribute to seasonal creative strategy for products and line segments. Present design concepts to internal and external stakeholders, creating materials that effectively communicate the vision behind each line.

Process & Collaboration - Work with design leadership and category teams to ensure design feasibility, meet price points, support merchandising needs, and keep projects on timeline.

Skill Development - Actively build your personal design portfolio and process knowledge, working closely with design management to advance your expertise. Support the broader design team as needed.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS



  • 5+ years directly relevant experience in product design, specifically apparel
  • Advanced Adobe Illustrator expertise
  • Hands-on apparel product design experience
  • Strong knowledge of sewing, construction, and fabric properties
  • Proven tech pack creation experience
  • Portfolio required with submission


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Experience with women's apparel, streetwear, or styling
  • Proficiency in Photoshop
  • Experience with Vizcom or CLO
  • Prior experience with this company is a bonus (these candidates will be prioritized)


EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Alternatives accepted: Associates + 6 years experience, High School + 7 years, or equivalent apparel design background.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

You'll work on-site (PHK location) with a hybrid schedule (4 days on-site, 1 day remote). You'll collaborate with approximately 10 apparel designers and 5 other product team members. Expect 1-2 interview rounds. This contract runs approximately 6 months from your start date and helps cover extended leave coverage.
