Responsibilities

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. In addition, we have numerous facilities in locations throughout the Texoma region. Since 1965, TMC has forged a special relationship with the people of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Under the direction of an assigned Management Council Member, this position is responsible to plan, organize, direct and supervise department programs, management team and staff. Ensure service excellence development, appropriate personnel management, and applicable resource allocation and control. Assume direction of participation in special projects as needed. Coordinate hospital-wide compliance with state and federal regulations


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. Equivalent experience of at least five (5) years may be considered in lieu of a degree

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in comparable position, with at least five (5) years of leadership positions in healthcare. Acute hospital experience strongly preferred. Management experience in a diverse health system preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills (keyboarding and Microsoft office), as well as ability to utilize a variety of work performance related computer programs. Demonstrate the ability to problem solve effectively and use critical thinking skills. Must have excellent management skills with ability to engage team members and management.
