The End User Compute CollaborationAdministratorprovides supportofthe Workplace Services footprint within the Encova enterprise.This is anentry leveltechnical role, servingas anadministratorto learn and supportcollaborationsystems.
TheCollaborationAdministratorwillsupport andmaintaincollaborationsystems and solutions.Responsible forbasic technical supportof teams/project.Key to the success of this role isto learn from and support team memberswithin the department, division, and company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Learn and developa technical aptitude for technology, as it related tocollaborationenvironments
  • Learn and develop atechnical understanding of virtualization andcloud-basedcollaborationtechnologies
  • Build anoverall technical aptitude for technology and information technology principles
  • Assistothers intechnical projectteam(s)both local and remote
  • Developandprovidethe ability to serve asMicrosoft Teamsengineer, as it relates to theend userenvironment (other co-product owner isAD Governance, as it relates to theMicrosoft Tenantfootprint and larger scope).
  • Develop and provide support forMicrosoft Teamsphone system and endpoints
  • Develop and provide support for Genesys and WebRTC systems
  • Develop andprovidethe ability to serve asOpenTextXMediusfax systems
  • Executethe completion ofbasictasks and phases of projectsandclient-basedcollaboration systemsupport.
  • Ensurethat deployment standards are met byfollowingsolution/projectteamscope documentation.
  • Participate inknowledge transferfrom other workplace services associates to enhanceone'sabilities to complete technical tasks.
  • Develop an understanding oftechnical systems analysis and design
  • Providefeedback withconsulting support and technical topics
  • Assistintechnical activities leading to the resolution of businessapplicationand technical problems.
  • Abide bycurrentEncovadivision and department standards
  • Develop an understandingontheeffects of company decisions on the systems, includingnewproject charters.
  • Ability to be coached, mentored byteammembersto aid in career development.
  • Develop an understandinginprojecting software and hardware requirements and budgets, including review of contracts and associated assets.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
  • Process Request, Incident and Problem tickets as well asparticipateinsupport activities
  • Complete basic tasks assigned by other teammembersthat are workingwith business stakeholders and product vendors to design integrations to desired systems.
  • Learn and supportnew tools, technologies, and processes to continuously improve software and software delivery.
  • Process and completebasicprojecttasks and providestatus updates
  • Adhere to Encova IT principles, High Availability, Least Privilege,Customer Service,etc.
  • Gainawareness of currenttechnologytrends and compliance regulations.
  • Engage in sharedknowledge and providedcross trainingsessionswith other members of the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • This individual will beanentry level administratoraround singledomainfocusas it relates toPhone systems, Faxing, Microsoft Teams, WebRTC,virtualization, cloud technologies, ITprocessesand regulatory compliance. They will be working proactively toparticipatein thesupport of customer facing solutionstoenable and protectour organizationand reputation.
  • 3years of IT experience preferred
  • Associatesdegree with a major in computer information systems or engineeringpreferred or equivalent work experience.
  • General understanding indeployment and implementation project teamsprocedures
  • Highly motivated and ambitious, excellent communication skills, creative & criticalthinker.
  • GeneralIT engineeringunderstanding, such as operating systems,Fax Solutions,servers, virtualization, cloud technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
  • General understanding ofdesigning, testing, and deploying enterprise applications for production and other environments.
  • Basic understanding ofcollaboration products,Microsoft Teams,Genesysand WebRTC
  • Effective customer service skills, including active listening, conflict resolution, decision making, and negotiation
  • Effective verbal, phone, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Quick to adapt and eager to learn
  • Able to lift 40 pounds and perform physical tasks related to moving and installing technology related equipment
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Basic technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Industry and vendor certifications a plus
