Job Summary: The Manager, Supply Chain Process & Analytics is a highly specialized, analytical leader focused on process management and continuous improvement within the logistics, procurement, and supply chain functions. The role is responsible for evaluating existing workflows, identifying efficiencies, and managing the implementation of new systems and software, as well as strategic concepts across the business. A typical day involves collaborating with execution leaders to audit operations, deploy best practices, and lead a small, agile team to optimize data integrity and operational throughput. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct continuous evaluations of current logistics, purchasing, and supply chain processes across the business to identify bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies.
- Design, develop, and document scalable process updates and systematically manage change management and rollouts for approved workflows.
- Partner with department directors to establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and team performance.
- Conduct regular operational and compliance audits of existing procurement and warehouse operations to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Act as a specialized liaison, partnering directly with execution leaders and project heads to deploy best practices across all business divisions.
- Rapidly deploy to establish structured purchasing functions, inventory workflows, and tracking systems for new business areas or major construction projects.
- Provide high-level, specialized analysis and support during technically complex or highly sensitive purchasing and sourcing scenarios.
- Supplier Performance Metrics: Establishing programmatic Supplier Scorecards to track vendor performance (inventory management, lead times, material defects, and compliance)
- Recommend solutions to mitigate supply chain risks on high-consequence job sites.
- Automation & Digitalization: Modern descriptions frequently highlight the implementation of automation tools, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to handle repetitive tasks like purchase order matching, freeing agile teams to focus entirely on strategic sourcing and high-level analytics.
- Directly manage, mentor, and develop a small team of 2-3 purchasing professionals, delegating execution tasks while maintaining a strategic focus.
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of systems & software (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc..), and advanced data analytics tools
Position Requirements (Work Experience, Skills, Licenses, etc.):
- Proven professional experience in process management, workflow optimization, continuous improvement, or internal auditing.
- Strong background working with logistics, supply chain operations, or strategic sourcing structures.
- Advanced analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data sets, map workflows, and derive actionable insights.
- Technical proficiency and a track record of optimizing or implementing ERP systems, procurement platforms, or data visualization tools.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage system implementations from conceptualization through completion.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to successfully influence, collaborate with, and support cross-functional business stakeholders.
- High adaptability and the capability to establish order, compliance, and structure within historically unstructured or rapidly shifting environments.
Education and Experience: Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field, and 5 plus years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or process improvement (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Demonstrated professional experience in process improvement, internal auditing, or procurement operations.

Job Responsibility Level: People manager with direct reports Travel Requirements: Travel to office locations, regional warehouses, or field project sites may be required 10-15% of the time. Hours: This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours are scheduled between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm with the position's supervisor. Physical Demands:
- Prolonged sitting and regular walking.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision and distance vision.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Competitive Wages: $106,000.00 to $140,000.00 annual salary.
