Lead Business Architect - Finance Transformation
Location: Jersey City, NJ/New York NYC
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $150K-$250K Base + Benefits

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Business Architect to drive a multi-year Finance Transformation initiative focused on modernizing enterprise finance platforms through an Oracle Cloud ERP implementation.
This is a strategic leadership position responsible for defining the future-state finance operating model, business capabilities, end-to-end finance processes, data architecture, and financial controls. This is not a software development or infrastructure architecture role. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in finance business processes and large-scale enterprise transformation within the banking or financial services industry.

Required Qualifications
* 10+ years of Business Architecture, Finance Transformation, or Enterprise Process Architecture experience.
* Strong banking or financial services background.
* Deep knowledge of:
o General Ledger
o Accounting Engines
o Financial Close
o Financial Reporting
o Data Substantiation
o Reconciliation
o Financial Controls
o Finance Operating Models
* Experience leading enterprise ERP transformations.
* Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Financials, Oracle Cloud ERP, or SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
* Expertise in business capability modeling and process mapping.
* Experience with BPMN, Signavio, ARIS, or Visio.
* Strong stakeholder management with executive leadership.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
* Lead the design of future-state business architecture across enterprise finance functions.
* Define business capabilities, operating models, and end-to-end finance processes.
* Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and standardization.
* Develop business process models, functional blueprints, data flow diagrams, and operating models.
* Design reconciliation, substantiation, and financial control frameworks.
* Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Technology, and executive stakeholders.
* Translate business architecture into detailed functional requirements for implementation teams.
* Lead and mentor Business Architects throughout the transformation program.
* Support enterprise-wide Oracle ERP implementation initiatives.
* Ensure regulatory compliance and financial data governance.
