Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant - Rehabilitation Aide role performs tasks related to the operation of physical rehabilitation services on the Acute Care/Swing Bed service. Performs clerical tasks and assists with patient related activities under the direction of a licensed PT/PTA/OT and/or SLT. This role is also responsible for completing daily and monthly stats, processing Medicare forms, obtaining insurance referrals and physician orders, maintaining inventory, processing discharged charts and other clerical duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant course required. Education and experience in a healthcare field preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required.
  3. Experience: CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills
