We are seeking a Program Manager.

This is an on-site role in Chesapeake, VA.

Responsibilities:



  • Manage the activities of staff to ensure effective operational performance and client satisfaction on client projects.
  • Identification and development of methods that improve effectiveness and efficiency and reduce the cost of management processes by drawing from Government lessons learned, using survey questions, and examining best practices utilized by other organizations.
  • Oversee and maintains an effective program workforce through active recruiting, selecting, orienting, coaching, counseling, and communicating team expectations.
  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting, maintaining program budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Performs compliance and performance audits, identifies trends, recommends improvements, and implements tactical and strategic changes.
  • Works with Task and Leads to achieve client objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, implementing quality standards, and removing barriers on critical paths.
  • Develop and maintain metrics depicting the effectiveness of program/projects and associated processes.


Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship required.

A four year or higher degree in engineering, engineering technology management, or business administration.

Minimum of five years of experience in a related job, including responsibilities to: plan, coordinate, and direct engineering related activities in an organization.

Ideal candidates will be proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly using Microsoft Excel or power business intelligence (BI).
