As a Certified Transportation Aide (CTA) you will perform a dual role of providing resident care as a CNA as well as transporting residents to and from medical appointments and outings. Transportation is a service that is highly valued by our residents to fulfill their medical and social needs.



Responsibilities

    The Transportation Aide is responsible for scheduling and driving community vehicles to transport residents in safe and efficient manner.
  • The Transportation Aide assists with loading and unloading of passengers and may be needed to assist in and out of destination.
  • The Transportation Aide provides direct resident care and reports conditions and changes to RN or LPN.


Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
  • Must have valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle assigned to operate
  • Safe driving record (no at-fault accidents, serious driving violations, or minor moving violations within the last three years)
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
