Job Summary

The Software Engineer will support the full software engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis and design, coding, unit testing, integration, and support for formal testing and delivery. This role requires hands-on programming experience, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work onsite in a secure-access environment.

Job Responsibilities




  • Support software development activities in alignment with the program Software Development Plan.



  • Analyze software requirements and contribute to object-oriented design solutions.



  • Develop, test, integrate, and troubleshoot software using programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.



  • Perform unit testing and support formal software testing and delivery activities.



  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support program objectives.



  • Assist with software and hardware integration activities as needed.




Job Requirements




  • Active Secret Clearance required.



  • Must be a U.S. citizen.



  • Minimum of 3 years of recent hands-on programming experience with languages such as C, C++, or Python.



  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.



  • Ability to work effectively with multi-disciplined teams.



  • Experience writing and designing software to requirements preferred.



  • Knowledge of Agile software development preferred.



  • Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering preferred.



  • Real-Time Operating System experience, such as Green Hills or VxWorks, preferred.



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.




Education




  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university preferred.




Work Experience




  • Minimum of 3 years of professional hands-on software engineering experience required.
