Nuclear Cardiology Technologist

No on call/weekends

7am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday, some procedures may run through 4:30pm EST

• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care-explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining safety at all times.
• Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radio pharmacy operations working within the NYSDOH guidelines.
• Manage and document patient data in the eRecord "CUPID" system and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Partner with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and continuously enhance lab protocols.
• Uphold URMC's ICARE values-Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence-in every aspect of your work.
• SPECT Blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis and a hybrid SPECT resting study followed by a PET sarcoid or viability studies.

• 2 years of Nuclear Med experience
• 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience
• NYS Rad Tech License
• NMTCB or ARRT(N)

Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program

• 2 years Nuclear Tech - Required
• NYS License - Required
• ARRT Certification w/ CE credits - Required
• BLS Certification - Required
• Cardiac Imaging - 6 months - Required
