Counter Sales Associate I West Melbourne, FL Shift : 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour 26-05174 Job Summary The Counter Sales Associate is a seasonal role responsible for supporting both front-of-house customer service and back-of-house warehouse operations. This position focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while assisting with inventory handling, order fulfillment, and daily store operations. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. There is potential for conversion to a permanent position based on business needs and performance. Job Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service and support at the counter Assist customers with product selection, orders, and general inquiries Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently Pick, stage, and prepare items for customer pickup or delivery Operate stand-up forklift and RF scanning equipment as needed Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory levels Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational tasks Assist with basic scheduling, ordering, and other operational duties when needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store and warehouse operations Lift and move items up to 50 lbs individually; team lifts used for heavier items Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required Strong customer service and communication skills required Ability to work in both warehouse and retail environments Experience with forklift operation (stand-up forklift preferred) Experience using RF scanners or inventory tracking systems preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and complete training Work Environment Combination of front-of-house retail counter and back-of-house warehouse operations Fast-paced, customer-driven environment Seasonal role with potential for full-time conversion based on performance and staffing needs About Equiliem Equiliem believes in empowering success.
