Job Summary Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. This seasonal position requires a flexible individual who can split time between warehouse operations and front counter customer service. The role includes shipping and receiving responsibilities, inventory organization, unloading trucks, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, assisting customers with orders, and completing written and computerized documentation. Candidates must be comfortable using a computer, operating warehouse equipment, and providing strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify items against shipping records Inspect materials and products for accuracy and condition upon receipt Gather, verify, package, and prepare items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods Maintain accurate written and computerized shipping and receiving documentation Route materials, supplies, and equipment to designated inspection or storage areas Operate powered warehouse equipment including forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts Assist with unloading trucks and organizing warehouse inventory Maintain warehouse cleanliness and perform general housekeeping duties Support front counter operations by assisting customers with orders and inquiries Provide professional and effective customer service in person and over the phone Perform additional warehouse and customer support duties as assigned Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 1 year of related shipping, receiving, warehouse, or customer service experience Previous forklift experience required Forklift certification preferred Comfortable using computers and completing electronic documentation Knowledge of standard shipping and receiving procedures Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills Effective verbal communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in both warehouse and customer-facing environments Flexible and dependable with the ability to adapt to changing daily tasks Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.) Seasonal position Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM About Equiliem Equiliem believes in empowering success.
