Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer will support technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, risk analysis, and systems engineering activities for complex electrical and integrated systems. This role involves supporting all phases of the system lifecycle, including concept development, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. The position requires collaboration across engineering teams to translate customer and product requirements into effective hardware and software solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The ideal candidate will have experience with analog circuit design, systems engineering processes, and interpreting engineering documentation.

Job Responsibilities




  • Perform systems engineering and electrical engineering activities across the full product lifecycle



  • Support technical planning, requirements development, verification, and validation efforts



  • Conduct functional analysis, trade studies, interface definition studies, and timeline analysis



  • Translate customer and product requirements into hardware and software specifications



  • Read and interpret engineering documentation, including Interface Control Documents (ICDs), electrical schematics, CAD models, and assembly-level engineering drawings



  • Assist with analog circuit design, electrical testing, troubleshooting, and standards compliance



  • Support system integration and test activities to ensure performance and reliability requirements are met



  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support system development



  • Travel to various project and customer locations as required




Job Requirements




  • Active Secret Clearance required; Interim Secret acceptable to start



  • Bachelor's degree required



  • Minimum of 1 year of analog circuit design experience; internship experience acceptable



  • Experience with systems engineering processes, including requirements development and verification



  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and electrical schematics



  • Experience using Visio



  • Knowledge of electrical testing, troubleshooting, and electrical standards



  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed



  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills




Education




  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline required




Work Experience




  • 1-2 years of experience in circuit design preferred



  • 1-2 years of experience reading electrical schematics preferred



  • Experience with electrical standards and Visio preferred



  • Exposure to electrical troubleshooting and testing preferred



  • Less than 1 year of experience with requirements development preferred



  • Experience with CAD tools preferred



  • Exposure to circuit failure mode analysis preferred
