SUMMARY:

The Airline Operations Intern provides cross-functional support within a Part 121 Supplemental airline environment. This internship includes a structured two-week rotation within Flight Operations/Dispatch, along with participation in special projects across operational departments. The role offers exposure to airline operations control, flight planning, and operational coordination while contributing to initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Participate in a structured 2-week rotation within Flight Operations/Dispatch

* Assist Aircraft Dispatchers with flight planning, weather review, and flight following activities

* Support coordination between Maintenance Control, Crew Scheduling, and Load Planning

* Assist with data collection and operational reporting

* Contribute to special projects including process improvements and reporting enhancements

* Monitor flights and identify operational risks

* Support irregular operations (IROPs)

* Maintain records and assist with system updates

* Provide administrative and project support as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Pursuing or recently completed degree in Aviation, Business, or related field

* Interest in airline operations

* Basic understanding of aviation concepts

* Ability to work in fast-paced environment

REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum age 18

* Flexible schedule availability

* Strong organizational skills

* Effective communication skills

* Microsoft Office proficiency

PREFERRED:

* Enrollment in Aviation/Management program

* Knowledge of FAR Part 121

* Familiarity with airline systems

* Prior internship experience
