QA/QC Technician - Data Center (Moncks Corner, SC) Location: Moncks Corner, South Carolina Requirement: Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate. Relocation package is not offered. Experience level: Junior to Senior level Position Overview We are seeking a detailoriented QA/QC Technician to support quality auditing inside data center environments. This role focuses on inspections, documentation, and verification of telecom installations. This is not an installation role, but candidates should be willing to assist with install work if quality audits slow down. Responsibilities Customer & Team Interaction * Maintain a positive attitude and strong customer service approach. * Demonstrate willingness to learn, grow, and support team goals. * Work with professionalism, strong work ethic, and the ability to travel when needed. * Stay current on industry changes and adjust quality practices accordingly. Daily QA/QC Audits * Perform inspections on assigned sites daily. * Document findings including nonconformities, risks, and improvement areas. * Maintain accurate, organized records of all inspections and followups. * Assist with training employees on quality standards and best practices when applicable. Corrective Actions * Identify deviations from quality standards and report them to QA/QC leadership. * Work with management to recommend improvements, reduce risks, and increase efficiency. Ongoing Compliance * Stay updated on industry, manufacturing, and internal standards. * Maintain awareness of local, state, and national codes. * Follow all safety, documentation, and operational procedures. Qualifications * Experience in quality assurance/control preferred. * Learning Management System (LMS) experience is a plus. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. * Understanding of adult learning concepts is helpful. * Strong time management, communication, public speaking, and problemsolving skills. * Agile and willing to take on new projects or learn new areas. "Required Experience" * Minimum 2 years of structured cabling experience. * Understanding of industry and manufacturer standards for cable installation. * Familiarity with copper and fiber cabling, rack layouts, and cable dressing. * Ability to identify issues, risks, and nonconformities with a strong attention to detail. Role Focus This is a pure QA/QC auditing role inside data centers. You will verify the quality of: * Telecom equipment * Copper & fiber cabling * Rack layouts and cable dressing Equipment is already installed - the QA/QC Technician audits work completed by installation teams. Success in this role requires: * Thinking like an auditor, not an installer * Strong documentation discipline * Ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally * Critical thinking and risk identification Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
