Patient Service Representative II/III (MRI Imaging) Oklahoma City, OK (On-site) 6 Month Contract-to-Hire $20-$25/hour (based on experience) Multiple Shifts Available About the Role TEKsystems is partnering with a leading healthcare organization (OU Health) to support the expansion of MRI imaging services. We are hiring Patient Service Representatives (PSR II/III) to deliver a high-quality, patient-centered experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a great opportunity for experienced healthcare customer service professionals who thrive in independent roles and want a pathway to full-time employment. What You'll Do * Register patients using Epic systems * Verify physician orders and prepare patients for imaging procedures * Collect and process consent forms accurately * Serve as the front-line contact for patients and family members * Manage check-in and patient flow for scheduled MRI appointments * Work independently during evening or weekend shifts * Maintain a calm, professional presence in high-stress situations Schedule Options Weekend Roles (2 openings) * Saturday & Sunday * 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Weekday Evening Roles (2 openings) * Monday - Friday * 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Assigned to ONE location: * Stevenson Cancer Center OR * OU Physicians Building (Adult Tower) Required Qualifications * 3-5 years of patient access or healthcare registration experience * Hands-on experience with Epic * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * High emotional intelligence and professionalism Education: * Associate's Degree required for PSR III * OR equivalent experience (5+ years) Preferred Qualifications * Pediatric registration experience * Emergency Department (ED) registration experience * Experience working in high-stress patient environments What We're Looking For * Reliable and accountable professionals (critical for solo shifts) * Strong judgment and decision-making skills * Ability to manage downtime responsibly * Compassionate, patient-focused mindset * Mature, calm demeanor when working with patients and families Why This Opportunity? * Get your foot in the door with a top healthcare system * Clear path to full-time employment * Flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends) * Work in a growing imaging services department * Be part of a critical expansion initiative improving patient access Compensation & Benefits * Competitive pay: $20-$25/hour * Overtime eligible (1.5x) * Medical, dental & vision * 401(k) with pre- and post-tax options * Life insurance, disability coverage * HSA & transportation benefits * Employee Assistance Program * PTO / sick leave (eligibility-based) Interview Process * One-step interview with hiring manager * Focus on independence, maturity, and experience level Compliance Requirements * Background check required * Drug screening required #prioritywest26 Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
