As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Detail in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout facilities, rail-adjacent property, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and/or permissions, and report security-related concerns, hazards, or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or observed conditions, and support communication with site personnel, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
