Intern - Petco Rx Strategy & Transformation At Petco, we believe every pet deserves the best possible care - and that extends to how they access the medication and nutrition they need to thrive. Our Rx business sits at the intersection of healthcare, retail, and veterinary services, and we're growing fast. This summer internship sits within Petco's Strategy & Transformation team, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer's organization. You'll work across three high-priority workstreams that directly shape how customers discover, refill, and stay loyal to their pet's prescriptions. You'll partner with teams across operations, CRM/MarTech, and veterinary services - and you'll see your work go live before the summer ends. This role is in person at our sunny San Diego office 3 days a week, Tuesday-Thursday. What you'll work on Design and run a pilot program for proactively contacting pet parents about their prescription needs Write outreach scripts and objection-handling guides tailored to distinct customer personas Track conversion outcomes and package findings into a scalable playbook for ongoing operations Audit active CRM messages across email, SMS, and push to identify overlap or over-messaging risks Map the end-to-end customer message journey and design refreshed communications, including copy, visuals, and next best action logic Review and consolidate internal documentation in partnership with subject matter experts Publish a structured resource accessible to field and clinic partners across the organization What we're looking for Recent graduate or rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in business, strategy, marketing, or a related field MBA preferred Strong project management and organizational skills - you can juggle multiple workstreams without dropping details Comfortable working with data and translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations Excellent communicator - written and verbal - who can work with cross-functional partners confidently Curious, proactive, and energized by ambiguity; you don't wait to be told what to do next Interest in retail, health, or consumer strategy is a plus #LI-CS1 #CORP Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.
