Position Description

We are actively seeking 4 Assembler I candidates for a full-time, contingent opportunity in Aiken, South Carolina (1561 Columbia Highway). This is a 6-month assignment supporting manufacturing operations, with a targeted start date of June 4, 2026. Candidates will work 40 hours per week on 1st shift in a production environment.

This role is ideal for candidates with entry-level to early-career experience in assembly, testing, or light industrial manufacturing, particularly those comfortable working with tools, following detailed instructions, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be responsible for performing general assembly, testing, and packaging of valve and switch components, including:

Assembling valve/switch components and sub-assemblies using assembly procedures, operation sheets, and bills of materials

Moving materials from staging areas to workstations

Performing functional and quality testing (internal, external, mass spec, and functionality testing)

Reading and interpreting gauges, flow meters, and power supply readouts to ensure product quality

Packaging completed components per specifications

Identifying and escalating production or quality issues

Maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols, including stopping work if unsafe conditions arise

Supporting additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Required Skills & Qualifications

Preferred: Minimum 1 year of assembly, testing, or packaging experience

Ability to:

Read and follow technical instructions, drawings, and procedures

Use hand tools, torque drivers, and assembly equipment safely and accurately

Perform basic quality checks and make simple judgment calls

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Demonstrated teamwork, professionalism, and reliability

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Blueprint reading experience is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Manufacturing/production setting with exposure to:

Noise, dust, dirt, oil, and grease

Required to wear PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, safety shoes)

Physical demands include:

Standing, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting

Lifting up to 50 pounds

Flexibility to work overtime or move between workstations based on production needs About Us
