Description

Compensation:

$115,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for the development, coordination, and administration of the Railton Place Transitional and Permanent Housing Programs. This includes but not limited to administration for Veterans in Recovery and SA transitional program, Homelessness for Supportive Housing and HUD VASH for permanent housing and the Emancipated Foster Youth Transitional Housing program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop, implement, and manage programs supporting adults in recovery.
  • Establish program goals, objectives, and performance outcomes.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Direct, supervise, and support case management staff.
  • Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
  • Ensure clear communication of expectations, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee service delivery for individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use, and/or HIV/AIDS-related challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and organizational integrity.
  • Support coordination with The Salvation Army programs and policies as applicable.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community-based organizations and recovery networks.
  • Stay informed of resources related to substance abuse recovery, HIV/AIDS services, and homelessness.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience working with adults in recovery
  • Certificate in alcohol and drug studies preferred (relevant coursework/training acceptable)
  • Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in case management


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Strong leadership, organizational, and program management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement effective programs
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high integrity
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow through with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to participate in required safety and compliance programs (e.g., Fleet Safety Program)



EQUIPMENT USED:



  • Modern office equipment (computers, printers, phones, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)
