As a Powertrain V&V Architect you will play a strategic role in the qualification and validation of powertrain control systems, leveraging industry-standard methodologies such as DFSS and SBT to ensure high levels of quality, reliability and performance.

Your role:

You act as:



  • A technical reference in validation and testing
  • A driver of testing methodologies and standards
  • A cross-functional enabler across projects and global teams



Key responsibilities



  • Define and lead test strategies
  • Develop and maintain detailed test plans, ensuring robust, traceable and requirement-compliant validation.
  • Provide technical expertise to Verification & Validation (V&V) teams through functional analysis, technical support and project guidance.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and partners.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of validation activities, based on test results, KPIs and validation reports.
  • Structure and enhance testing methods and standards, driving continuous improvement and industrialization.
  • Define required competencies for V&V activities and contribute to capability development.
  • Design and deploy technical and methodological training programs at a global level.
  • Contribute to validation planning, working closely with project teams to achieve QCDP targets (Quality, Cost, Delivery, People).


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or System Engineering or equivalent degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and management
  • Analytical problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Must be self-motivated and motivate the team to success
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of ICE and Electric automotive architecture.
  • Fundamental knowledge of industry methodologies such as DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) and SBT (Specification-Based / Scenario-Based Testing).


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or System Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Experience in Agile Methodology
  • Experience in testing using test properties such as but not limited to: HIL/Vehicle etc.
  • Ability to use CAN/Networking tools such as but not limited to: INCA, CANAlyser, CANApe, and ATI Vision etc.
  • Working knowledge of HIL HW and SW test environment including Plant Models, Harnesses, Load boxes, FIUs, Controllers etc.
