Job Description: The Sterility Testing Technician I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting sterility assurance operations within classified cleanroom environments. This position focuses on developing foundational knowledge of GMP principles, aseptic technique, and cleanroom behavior while providing hands-on support for sterility testing, environmental monitoring, and material handling activities. Maintain gowning and aseptic technique qualifications and comply with cleanroom behavior requirements.

  • Enter classified cleanroom areas to support sterility testing operations.
  • Stage, transport, and manage materials, supplies, and test articles in support of sterility and media fill
  • testing.
  • Read sterility tests and media fills in accordance with approved procedures and qualification requirements.
  • Perform environmental monitoring sampling, cleaning, and disinfection of laboratory and cleanroom areas
  • as assigned.
  • Operate and monitor incubators and other laboratory equipment per approved procedures.
  • Complete GMP documentation accurately, legibly, and contemporaneously in accordance with data
  • integrity requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety, waste handling, and regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Manual Dexterity required.
  • Accurate and Detail Oriented required.
  • Vision Requirements: 20/30 Corrected Near-Point required
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted to transfer media trays, WIP totes, etc. required.
  • Working in Aseptic Areas Prolonged Sitting/Standing required.
  • Aseptic Gown Certification desired.
  • Ability to work in classified cleanroom environments and comply with gowning requirements preferred.
  • Basic understanding of GMP principles or willingness to learn preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedure preferred.
  • Accurate testing and documentation have an immediate and direct impact on internal and external customers.
  • Test documentation must be complete and accurate to avoid production and release delays.
  • Must be able to attain and maintain aseptic gown certification.

Location: Spokane, WA - On Site, Full- -Time

Shift: Tuesday-Friday | 5:00AM-3:30PM
