Description

Reporting to the Radiology Department Chair, CAO, and Vice Chair of Research and Analytics, the Director of Radiology Analytics provides strategic and operational leadership for departmental analytics and informatics initiatives. The role oversees analytics governance, staffing, budgets, and vendor relationships, operating with a high level of autonomy and accountability.

The Director leads a team of analysts with deep expertise in Radiology clinical operations, translating clinical and business needs into analytics solutions that improve patient access, quality, and operational efficiency. Working closely with Clinical Operations, Finance, ISS, and health system partners, the role guides the development of workflows, applications, reports, and dashboards using platforms such as Epic Clarity, SAP, and Microsoft BI tools. The position also supports systemwide initiatives, optimizes tools including QGenda and ServiceNow, and advances the department's analytics maturity and performance improvement efforts.

Salary: $10,708.3 - $24,841.67 monthly

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, computer science, health administration, healthcare compliance and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of healthcare management experience
  • 10+ years of experience with business applications management (e.g., Epic, Salesforce
  • 5+ of experience of overseeing teams with Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Montage, Slicer Dicer, and Tableau
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills, with the ability to strategically plan and set realistic, impactful goals
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinic or contact center operational key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Commitment to staying current on contact center technologies through professional development, networking, and industry engagement (preferred)
  • Ability to champion a clear vision, lead by example, and guide teams through change
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with IT professionals, clinical providers, care teams, and diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present formally and report to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated financial management skills, including developing and overseeing an annual departmental budget
  • Demonstrated change management and project management skills
Preferred:
  • Masters degree
  • 8+ years of health care project management experience
  • Lean six sigma Certification
  • Epic Certification
