Electrical Engineer II

The candidate for Electrical Engineering requires a highly
organized, highly motivated self-starter that can take instruction. They
have critical thinking skills, can multitask, and execute to a detailed plan.

We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.

Our Performance Center in Carson, CA is the Engineered
Products Group site for our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, and
Radio Frequency (RF) product lines.

Job Summary

  • The
    role includes supporting the development of new electro-mechanical
    products, improving the manufacturability, reducing costs, and optimizing
    a designs performance of an existing product in a fast paced industrial
    environment.
  • The
    position will be supporting cross functional teams including
    manufacturing, quality, and operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience
    interpreting customer specification and apply them to design requirements
  • Experience
    in printed circuit boards for instrument panels, preferred
  • Experience
    in cabling and cable layout
  • Demonstrated
    project management skills
  • Experience
    in analog and digital circuits developing detailed schematics, test
    procedures, and fabrication specifications
  • Experience
    interpreting mechanical drawings, GD&T, and tolerancing stack-ups a
    plus some experience
  • Experience in thermal and dynamic analysis a plus
  • Experience
    working with military specification for aircraft instrument panels a plus
  • Lead
    continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost, quality and delivery
    improvements
  • Ability
    to estimate timelines and generate schedules a plus
  • Ability
    to evaluate cost, and risk preferred
  • Demonstrated
    written and oral presentations skills
  • Experience
    with Python or LabView a plus

Required Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in
    BSEE with minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in design
  • Electrical
    Engineer with 3-5 years experience.
  • Must
    be US Person or Permanent Resident

Base Compensation: USD 95,000.00 - 105,000.00 Paid Salaried
