Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support production planning, inventory control, logistics coordination, and operational performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will serve as a key connection point between Supply Chain, Production, Inventory, and Shipping teams to ensure production schedules, material availability, and ERP data remain accurate and aligned with operational demands. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, ERP/MRP system knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Job Responsibilities:
* Create and release production orders based on customer requirements and MRP system proposals.
* Track production order progress and ensure ERP production data accurately reflects real-time shop floor activity.
* Monitor manufacturing workflows and escalate critical production issues when necessary.
* Identify production bottlenecks and recommend process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
* Participate in periodic inventory and cycle count activities with the goal of eventually owning inventory count processes.
* Maintain accurate ERP inventory records and perform inventory adjustments as needed.
* Support inventory accuracy initiatives and material reconciliation processes.
* Support shipping and logistics operations and provide backup support for shipping procedures when required.
* Assist with material flow improvements and warehouse optimization projects.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely movement of materials throughout production and shipping operations.
* Monitor production output, manufacturing capacity, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics.
* Track key operational KPIs including On-Time Delivery (OTD) and On-Time Launch performance.
* Generate reports and analyze operational data to support production and supply chain decision-making.
* Manage short-term production planning activities.
* Act as a liaison between Supply Chain and Production departments to align production schedules with operational priorities and customer demands.

Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma required; Bachelor"s Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, production planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of production processes and MRP/ERP system logic.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/planning software systems.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving manufacturing environment.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working within structured industrial or manufacturing environments.
* Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDA, or Microsoft Business Central.
* Experience supporting inventory management, warehouse optimization, or shipping operations.
* Knowledge of production scheduling, manufacturing KPIs, and supply chain planning processes.
* Experience analyzing operational data and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
* Understanding of production capacity planning and OEE metrics
