Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist role provides crucial administrative support and completes routine assignments such as invoice processing, employee expenses management, and payment processing. This role operates under moderate supervision and plays a key role in enhancing the operational efficiency of the department.

Responsibilities



  • Accurately process invoices in an efficient manner.
  • Administer the company's expense management program according to company policy.
  • Manage payment processing operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all payments.
  • Follow established Procure-to-Pay guidelines and internal controls.
  • Support cash flow management by maintaining up-to-date records of incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Procure-to-Pay function.
  • Contribute to team leadership by taking on supportive roles within the team.
  • Provide operational support as needed to other team members and operations.
  • Flexible to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.


                  Mentorship



                  • May provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles.


                  Skills and Competencies



                  • Strong capability to efficiently and accurately process financial transactions.
                  • Proficient in adhering to Procure-to-Pay guidelines, ensuring compliance and transaction integrity.
                  • Capable of providing exceptional support and service to internal customers.
                  • Ability in taking key roles in process improvement initiatives and support team efforts.


                        Experience



                        • Typically, at least 2 years of experience in a finance role.


                        Education



                        • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field is required.



                        Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

                        Location A: $24.50 - $30.80

                        Location B: $27.40 - $33.70
