Fluid Systems Division (FSD) is part of Parker Aerospace and is the largest revenue-generating division in Parker Hannifin. FSD is made up of five operation locations across the US (4) and in Mexico (1) employing 1400 people. With a world-class product portfolio, a strong mix of OEM and Aftermarket customers across Commercial and Military applications, FSD has grown by nearly 40% in the last two years - with continued growth anticipated over the decade.

  • The Fluid Systems Division (FSD) is seeking an FP&A Accounting Manager who will report to the Division Controller and fill a newly created role within the organization.
  • The FP&A Accounting Manager will work closely with FSD Division Controller, location controllers, as well as cross-functional Divisional leaders to support improved growth and profitability.
  • This position will have one direct report, and will be responsible for financial consolidation, reporting, analysis, and presentations of FSD results.
  • Additional responsibilities include budgeting, planning, internal control oversight, financial reporting both internal and external, financial performance measurement, financial system implementation, process improvement, problem solving and technical accounting support and guidance.

Essential Functions:

  • Consolidate and submit Division financial deliverables associated with actual results and forecasting
  • Analyze financial performance of the division; interpret results and prepare monthly reports which highlight and explain significant deviations from Plan, Prior Year and Forecast.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify issues and implement actions to resolve
  • Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of month end financial closing deliverables and reports
  • Coordinate, implement and analyze the Division budget process; respond to budget and reporting inquiries

Support Division Controller in the following:

  • Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecasts
  • Monthly and quarterly Group & Corporate reporting
  • Presentations for Division Leadership
  • Monitoring and assuring adequate internal controls at the divisional level
  • Preparation of special purpose reports and analyses assigned by the Controller
  • Work closely with location leadership on forecasts and reporting for all sites
  • Work with SSO (aftermarket) organization to align forecasting and reporting processes and tools
  • Develop and implement consolidated Division reporting of financial metrics not captured elsewhere
  • Align with Division Staff on Win Scorecard metrics and problem solving to improve metrics
  • Multi-ERP involvement and understanding
  • Implement and/or enhance processes across the Division
  • Maintaining Division Finance Team Improvement Board (TIB)
  • Support Division projects and reviews to help identify and communicate best practices

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Accounting or Finance - Master's is a plus
  • CMA or CPA certification - preferred but not required
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience in general/cost accounting and FP&A
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience in Power BI, SAP Financial Consolidation is helpful
  • Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results and meeting organizational objectives. Capable of assessing and developing individual and team skills and capabilities.
  • Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals. Serves as a role model by promoting new ideas and positive change.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $111450 to $195150 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
