DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly facility for employees and the public. The work involves daily cleaning tasks, outdoor upkeep, and minor repair activities across the building and grounds. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Facility Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning of floors, windows, furniture, fixtures, and restrooms
- Outdoor Maintenance: Maintain entrances, clear walkways, mow grass, and manage outdoor areas
- Waste Disposal: Dispose of trash and building waste in the correct manner
- Minor Repairs: Complete basic repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures
- Team Communication: Coordinate with supervisors and coworkers to complete daily tasks
- Public Courtesy: Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward the traveling public
