Sigma Defense is seeking an Adaptive Airborne Enterprise (A2E) Principle Engineer to be embedded within HQ AFSOC supporting the AFLCMC A2E Program Manager, USSOCOM SOF AT&L PEO-FW A2E Program Manager, and HQ AFSOC directories in the rapid integration, engineering, testing, validation, operational assessment and exercises, and delivery of A2E capability to the War Fighter.

The Principle Engineer will act as a functional subject matter expert (SME) in the systems engineering of Strike and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) assets across the maritime, ground, air, and space domains with ability to operate in Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, and Limited (DDIL) environments.

Requirements

  • 15+ years with specific experience with systems engineering and data transport architectures in direct support of SOF manned and unmanned aircrafts.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Candidate Differentiators:

  • Direct experience with HQ AFSOC A2E efforts within the last 2 years is preferred.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Network Engineering or Systems Engineering field of study.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Provide hands on engineering and strategic/technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with all directly supporting parties as well as coordinate and collaborate with the program offices.
  • Support A2E efforts and requirements with recommendation of solutioning based on government direction.
  • Act as the program office representative while onsite at HQ AFSOC or any other A2E location.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 annually.
